Supply Chain Watch

Where the supply chain breaks.

Each mark on this map comes from a public record. Pick a layer to see where products fail between the factory and the patient. Then follow the chain below to see what a verified record changes at each step.

The chain

Six places it goes wrong.

A product changes hands many times before anyone uses it. Each step below shows what the public record finds there, and what Aeroz puts in place.

  1. Make

1,200 of the 4,055 FDA recalls this year cite contamination, sterility or manufacturing practice.

Baxter recalled bags of 70% dextrose after stainless steel particles were found (Class I, September 2026).

With Aeroz. Each unit gets its own cryptographic identity and custody record, on one platform that runs on its own. A recall can then name the exact units affected.

  2. Pack and label

386 recalls this year for labeling or packaging faults, and 299 for undeclared allergens.

Cartons of Amneal estradiol gel shipped with packets empty or only partly full (October 2026).

With Aeroz. A printed code can be photographed and reprinted. The secure chip in an Aeroz tag answers a cryptographic challenge, and it is designed to be clone-resistant.

  3. Move and store

2,646 confirmed cargo thefts in the US and Canada in 2025. In the second quarter of 2026, fake carriers took 158 loads.

A Zoladex shipment sat 25.5 hours in a FedEx trailer with no temperature control (recalled October 2026).

With Aeroz. Each partner signs the handoff with its own key. Every event goes to an append-only EPCIS 2.0 custody log, and unsigned handoffs show on an exceptions board.

  4. Distribute

US Customs made 25,079 counterfeit seizures in fiscal 2025, worth $7.4 billion at retail.

116 serialized cartons of Udenyca were stored at room temperature at a distributor instead of refrigerated (Class I, February 2026).

With Aeroz. Partners work from one board of signed handoffs, and the record exports in the formats regulators ask for, including DSCSA.

  5. Dispense and use

WHO issued 10 alerts for falsified or substandard medicines in 2025 and 2026. US pharmacies filed 18,632 theft or loss reports with the DEA in 2024.

Falsified Jakavi found in Iran, Russia and Türkiye contained none of its active ingredient (WHO, June 2026).

With Aeroz. Anyone can tap the tag with a phone, no app needed, and see whether the product is genuine and where it has been.

  6. Return or dispose

Reverse distributors, who handle returns and destruction, filed 10,160 theft or loss reports with the DEA in 2024.

Dexcom G7 sensors marked as scrap were stolen during destruction, leaving no distribution records (July 2026).

With Aeroz. Destroying a unit closes it in the record. Inspectors get a read-only view of every close-out.
