The classes
Class I means a reasonable chance the product causes serious harm. Class II means temporary or reversible harm is possible. Class III means harm is unlikely. FDA sets the class after the company starts the recall.
What a recall says about a company
A recall shows a company acting on a problem. It is not a verdict on the company. A long record can mean a big catalogue and careful reporting. The pattern in the reasons tells you more than the count.
For comparison
Across all FDA recalls reported so far in 2026, 5% of drug recalls, 12% of device recalls and 37% of food recalls were Class I.
What this does not show
Recalls filed under another company name, recalls before 2021, and problems that never became a recall. Names in FDA's records vary, so pick every match that belongs to the company.
Data from openFDA, FDA's public API. FDA says to treat it as unvalidated and not to use it for medical decisions. Searches go from your browser to FDA; Aeroz does not see them unless you ask us to email the result.
A recall is a trace problem. Talk through yours.
